Hydrate Dry Skin with Theraplex - Now Featured in Allure Magazine and Style.com!
We definitely think HydroLotion is a wonderful moisturizer, but we’re a little biased. On the other hand, for over 25 years dermatologists have been recommending Theraplex products to their patients so we guess that gives us some credibility to brag about.
If you haven’t heard of Theraplex or HydroLotion yet you might be wondering what makes HydroLotion different from any of the other countless moisturizers on the market these days.
Here, let us explain:
What Makes HydroLotion Different:
HydroLotion is a light, daily lotion moisturizer that can be used on the face or body to maintain skin hydration. But what makes HydroLotion (along with the entire Theraplex line for that matter) unique is that all of our formulas are simple and uncomplicated. We incorporate a few highly effective ingredients into each of our products and eliminate all the “fluff” that can potentially irritate sensitive or delicate skin.
All Theraplex moisturizers utilize a special petrolatum fraction. Petrolatum is an incredible natural moisturizer and skin barrier protectant. However the problem with petrolatum is that it is very greasy and occludes the skin.
A research scientist developed a way to extract all of the heavy oils and greases from petrolatum while maintaining its superior moisturization and skin barrier protection properties. The result was this special petrolatum fraction that makes our products non-greasy that won’t clog pores (noncomedogenic).
All Theraplex moisturizers are hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic and free of fragrances, parabens, and preservatives. They are ideal for sensitive and/or severely dry skin.
In particular HydroLotion is ideal for anyone with sensitive or delicate skin, but it also serves as a wonderful moisturizer for acne-prone skin as well. It helps to replace the moisture that is lost from drying acne treatments without clogging pores and helps to maintain a healthy moisture balance in the skin.
