1998

Continuing their innovative work, in 1998, Dr. Eugene Gans combined the Special Petrolatum Fraction with a hydrosilicone delivery system to create two of our best-selling products: Hydrolotion and ClearLotion.

2010

In 2010, Theraplex joined forces with another leading dermatologist, Dr. Bob Kalpan, to introduce Barrier Balm, a non-greasy, hydrating moisturizing balm that effectively soothes, relieves, and protects dry skin without irritation. Barrier Balm became widely recognized as a lighter version of the Emollient, offering excellent hydration.

2013

Dr. Bob Kaplan formulated FT Emollient in 2013, specially designed to moisturize and exfoliate rough, dry skin, callused feet, and address Keratosis Pilaris.

2015

Celebrating 25 years, Theraplex had become a go-to solution for sensitive skin and eczema. However, recognizing the need for a product specifically tailored for eczema, the company launched Eczema Therapy in 2015, further expanding its range of specialized skin care products.

2019

Continuing the tradition of innovation, Theraplex introduced its latest product, Anti-Itch Moisturizing Cream (AIM), in 2019. Developed in collaboration with board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Peter Lio, AIM was specifically designed to provide relief for itchy rashes associated with eczema flare-ups. It complements Eczema Therapy perfectly, creating a two-step routine: AIM to alleviate and stop itchiness, and Eczema Therapy to repair and maintain the skin.
